SUMMARY:Electric Aircraft Fly-In PLUS Tailgate Swap Meet
DESCRIPTION:Our Club’s annual Electric Fly-In is an event that almost anyone can participate. It is an AMA-sanctioned event\, open to all pilots and all clubs in our area. \nThe only requirement is that aircraft flown on this day must be exclusively electric-powered. All type of airplanes\, of all sizes are eligible to fly. \nJust bring your AMA card\, register and fly with us. We will break around noon for lunch and then resume flying until….everyone runs out of batteries! \nThis year we will also have a Tailgate Swap Meet at the parking lot.  Bring all the extra airplanes and other hobby stuff you want to sell and exhibit them by your car. \nClick HERE to download the event flier. \n

Participants must have a current AMA membership card to register and fly at the event. \nMinimum aircraft requirements to qualify:\n– Monoplanes – 80″ wingspan\n– Biplanes – 60″ wingspan\n– EDF jets – 142″ COMBINED length+wingspan \nLunch and beverages will be served around noon for the pilots. \nUPDATE: We will be flying on the runway with the prevailing wind. No more crosswind landings. Come fly with us on our paved runways! \n
